The challenge
Player auctions for local tournaments were run on paper and spreadsheets. Organisers needed a platform where team owners could bid live, budgets updated instantly and everyone saw the same result at the same moment.
What we did
- 01Designed a multi-tenant SaaS so each tournament runs its own auction.
- 02Built live bidding over WebSockets so bids, timers and budgets update instantly for everyone.
- 03Used Laravel for the API and admin, and Vue 3 for a fast, responsive bidding screen.
- 04Deployed to a VPS with automated CI/CD, Cloudflare and SSL.
